For 17 years, I have been documenting the architecture of the third space. 50,000+ hours. Two books. One discovery: the kava bar is where the phase shift begins.
You have felt the pull of the third space. The way strangers become friends.
Download Field Report Charlie"I had been drinking kava for years, but I never understood why it felt different from anything else. Field Report Charlie named the coherence chamber I had been experiencing but couldn't describe. Now I see the kava bar not as a place to drink, but as a place to remember."

I have been a patron, a builder, and an architect of the kava bar community since 2010. I have seen the industry from every angle. And I discovered something the industry does not talk about: The kava bar is not just a place to drink. It is a coherence chamber. But the architecture to protect this space is missing. That is why I wrote KAVA RESONANCE.
You have felt the pull of the third space. The way strangers become friends.
Download Field Report Charlie"I opened my kava bar because I loved the community. But I had no idea how to protect it from the regulations, the identity crisis, and the attacks. Field Report Charlie gave me the architecture I was missing. The PMA. The Trust. The sovereignty."

Kava is an all-natural anti-anxiety plant from the South Pacific and it is best known for its anti-anxiety and muscle relaxing properties, which means when you drink it ceremonially you will feel very chill and relaxed.
Kava is a medicinal root from the volcanic soils of the South Pacific islands including Hawaii. For thousands of years, it has been used in ceremony, community, and connection. It works on the amygdala—the fear center of the brain—downregulating the stress response and telling the nervous system: You are safe. You are not being hunted. You can relax now.
Kava is not a drug. It is not a supplement. It is a plant ally.
A kava bar is a third space—not home, not work, but a place where community gathers around the plant in ceremony. It is a coffee shop without the caffeine jitters, a bar without the alcohol, a lounge without the noise.
The first kava bar in the United States opened in 2002 in Boca Raton, Florida, called Nakava. Since then, the industry has grown slowly but steadily. Today, there are approximately 300-400 kava bars operating across the United States, with the highest concentrations in Florida, California, New York, and North Carolina.
Most of these bars operate as hybrid establishments, serving both kava and kratom. This has created an identity crisis—but it has also created an opportunity. The kava bar is the infrastructure for the coherence chamber. It is where the phase shift begins.
The kava bar industry has not gone viral because it has lacked the architecture to grow. The plant is misunderstood. The identity is confused. The regulations are uncertain. The market has been waiting for a map.

Kava alone is powerful. But I discovered something deeper. The Kava-Juana Protocol is the combination of kava and sativa cannabis—used ceremonially, at night, in the dark. This is not recreational. This is ceremonial technology.
“Kava-Juana is not getting high. It is accessing the source code.”

Where human spirits gather in authentic communion, centralized control grids naturally fracture. Authentic spaces are inherently resistant to external protocols.
Kava was banned in Europe in 2002. Kratom is under constant regulatory attack. The kava bar is a frontline in the war for human sovereignty.
